Join Kanako Sugiura, Sanae Riyad, Ana Piera, and Dr. Rajul Matkar on April 15th 2021 at 12:30 GMT for a discussion on expecting mothers, alternatives childbirth methods, fighting fear and isolation, finding support, and weaving new communities.

Al Sahm Women is happy to introduce our 4 speakers:

Kanako Suguira : Founder of Josanshi ONLINE, a global online service that matches pregnant women and mothers around the world with midwives. This community provides resources such as private consultations, training, workshops, and support groups. Kanako also advises companies to improve their benefits.

Sanae Riyad: Inspired by Ayurveda, an ancient Indian way of living and due to a difficult illness and childbirth experience, Sanae decided to change the course of her life. Today, she supports women internationally: preparing their body for pregnancy, unraveling their fertility issues, assist them to prepare for a natural birth using Ayurveda panchakarma, childbirth classes, accompany their labor as a doula, and also providing postpartum therapy to regain energy, promote breastfeeding and reshaping their body.

Ana Piera : using the Hypnobirthing program that teaches basic birthing physiology, different breathing techniques, birth partner massage and relaxation skills, birth plan preferences/plan, birth positions, and deep relaxation tools. Ana teaches women to release fears. The goal is for them to remain relaxed and in control for better birth outcomes, physically and emotionally.

Dr. Rajul Matkar: an internationally-recognized Obstetrician & Gynecologist. Dr. Rajul, with 31 years of clinical experience, has completed her MD from the prestigious JJ Group of Hospitals and Grant Medical College, Mumbai – India. She received specialized training in minimally-invasive gynecologic Surgery from Kiel University – Germany and has completed training for advanced colposcopy and directed procedures under the British Society for Colpo Cervical Pathology (BSCCP).
