It all started when…
A group of passionate women living in the MENA region thought that women needed a safe place to discuss topics, engage with other like-minded professionals, and get help: making a more balanced world a reality. That’s when the professional networking platform, called Al-Sahm Women, was created.
Four years on, we are on a new mission: bringing women together to network, connect, learn in Southern Europe too, starting with Malta as our first European hub.

WHY should you join us?
For many reasons. It does not matter if you have been a business woman for many years, or you have just started your own business, or thinking of setting up your own start-up, or you simply have an entrepreneurial mindset and would like to unleash your full potential: all these are good reasons to join a community of female entrepreneurs and business women like ours. As women, we know our lives can be overwhelming: running daily tasks and work projects can be challenging.
That’s why we have come up with The Arrow Malta, the professional networking group for women in Malta, as we believe that our networking hub can become a place where women can not only facilitate each other’s professional goals, but also promote each other to positions of leadership, helping women become the “bosses” of their businesses and embrace opportunities to become specific industries leaders as well. It is in those positions that women’s voices will take on more power as change agents.
We strive for inclusivity by offering women safe spaces to develop skills, strengthen their voices and access opportunities. We want women to feel empowered thanks to the help of other empowering women.
